Have you seen the Noteslate?

My husband just skype'd me a link to a company called Noteslate.  They are producing a tablet that you can write on that looks just like paper.  It looks very cool, but you can't do anything with it except write notes.  No surfing the internet, or reading books, just doodling.  I still think I like it, because it's just sooo pretty!

  

You can save the current screen, and upload it to your computer via USB.  What it doesn't seem to do is convert your text to font.  I can imagine my knapsack filled with a kindle, an ipad, a noteslate, a laptop, an iphone,  It all is a bit confusing, but this is the direction we are headed!
